Where your contribution brought hope and protected communities
Your support not only made funds available; it also brought hope where there was despair, gave a voice where rights were endangered and offered protection to vulnerable communities.
From droughts and disasters to legal action, safety and victim support – each project that AfriForum undertook carry the signs of people who were willing to get involved and stand together.
These projects include among others:
- Friends of AfriForum
- Legal fund
- Emergency Fund
- Safety Fund
- Victim Support Fund
- Say no to the BELA Bill
- AfriForum’s international campaign again hate speech
- Wilmien Potgieter Fund
Each of these projects tells the story of people who stood up when it mattered.
Important notice: new security measurements for donations
To protect donators even better, GivenGain recently upgraded their security rules. These changes are part of international best practice to prevent online fraud and make online transactions more secure.
What does it mean in practice?
- Donators’ cards must support 3D Secure (3DS) verification.
- If your card does not support 3DS verification, or if the verification fails, the transaction is automatically blocked.
- This can happen with monthly donations that were previously successfully processed, especially when the bank has recently updated it security requirements.
We therefore ask our supporters to ensure that 3DS verification has been activated on their banking cards to ensure continuous donations without interruption.
These steps are there for your own as well as our safety and help to keep AfriForum’s donation platforms trustworthy and sacure.
A word of sincere thanks
We value your support sincerely. Without your contributions we would not have been able to build a sustainable future for our people here at the southern-most tip of Africa – and also not for our people all over the world. Our supporters make AfriForum strong.
