The Brisbane Afrikaans Church had their annual Lekkerbek Bazaar on 4 September. It was a day full of fun, enjoyment and plenty to eat.<\/p>\n

Activities such as armwrestling, sack racing, bow and arrow shooting, spitting corn kernels (mieliepitspoeg<\/em>) and the jumping castle ensured that the children had loads of fun. Shady trees provided ample space for socialising while people enjoyed truly South African cuisine like curry and rice, jaffles, vetkoek and mince, sosaties, pancake and boerewors rolls.<\/p>\n
