We were amazed to see the new Hartenbos Seefront retail centre as we entered. It was also clear that Hartenbos and Mossel Bay are nowadays \u2018big towns\u2019 which no longer generate their income during holiday periods only.<\/p>\n<p>Once again, it was interesting to see the difference in the service levels of different types of companies. For example, a certain venue advertised that a new drink would be available at a Steve Hoffmeyer concert \u2013 but within an hour they were out of stock, and later out of change as well. On the other hand, certain coffee shops and restaurants have delivered world-class service.<\/p>\n<p><strong>So what is my point?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellence is not optional if you plan to run a profitable and long-term business. Thanks to social media and online review platforms, there is no longer a hiding place for individuals and businesses that provide poor service.<\/li>\n<li>Excellence begins in your head.
