This move follows in reaction to yesterday\u2019s Constitutional Court ruling, according to which AfriForum\u2019s application for leave to appeal against two previous court rulings that legalised the singing of this chant was dismissed. Having exhausted all local legal remedies, AfriForum will now continue its fight internationally.<audio src=\"https:\/\/www.artikels.afriforum.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Kallie-Kriel_28-March-2025_ENG.mp3\"><\/audio><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/wereldwyd.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/03\/Kallie-Kriel_28-March-2025_ENG.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Soundbite: Kallie Kriel, CEO of AfriForum<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to Kallie Kriel, CEO of AfriForum, the internationalisation of the fight against calls for violence against Afrikaners and farmers, as demonstrated by the chanting of \u201cKill the Boer\u201d, is a next logical step, given the clear lack of protection of Afrikaner human rights by the Constitutional Court and the South African Constitution. The chant has already attracted international attention this past week after the US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, expressed his dissatisfaction with it. He said on X on Monday that \u201c\u2018Kill the Boer\u2019 is a chant that incites violence\u201d and that \u201cSouth Africa\u2019s leaders and politicians must take action to protect Afrikaners and other disfavoured minorities\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis internationalisation will involve more than just taking legal action.
