Worldwide’s World Guide is so proudly South African like Cream Soda at a school dance. The World Guide contains everything that you could possibly need to ease the longing back home just a little bit; from biltong and boerewors to milk tart and vetkoek. Each week Worldwide chooses one business from the guide to appear in the Spotlight – this week it is Karoo Restaurant.

Karoo Restaurant is inspired by the diversity of British, Dutch, African, Malaysian, Portuguese and Indian flavours that make up the delicious dishes of Chef Sanette Groenewald’s South African homeland. Sanette brought the fascination of the Cape to Cape Cod and established a successful, colourful, eco-friendly restaurant with particular dishes.

The menu offers something of everything – from hummus and pitta for a starter to Karoo bunny chow and many other finger licking delicious dishes. You can even buy some of the sauces if you simply cannot get enough of it.
