Afrikaans is Lekker 2026: Appel, Bernice West and Elvis Blue on tour in Australia and New Zealand
The popular Afrikaans is Lekker concert series returns to Australia and New Zealand in August 2026, and this year’s tour promises to be another highlight for Afrikaans communities overseas. The artists for Afrikaans is Lekker 2026 has now been officially confirmed: Appel, Bernice West and Elvis Blue.
These artists are some of the most well-known names in Afrikaans music, and each brings their own unique style and energy to the stage. Audiences can look forward to an evening full of famous hits, new music and the special feeling of spending time with other South Africans.

Appel, the stage name of Christoph Kotzé, is known for his hits that regularly become the soundtrack for weekends in South Africa. He is also a respected songwriter who has written songs for big names such as Theuns Jordaan, Karlien van Jaarsveld, Eden, Bok van Blerk, Laurika Rauch and Jo Black.
Bernice West established her place in the Afrikaans music industry with her fresh style and emotional songs that touch audiences across the world.
Elvis Blue, one of South Africa’s beloved storytellers, is known for songs that celebrate themes of faith, family and the beauty of everyday life.
