Business in the Spotlight: The Hive at Little Eeden – Café and Venue
The Hive at Little Eeden – Café and Venue offers Australian hospitality with a country feel! Bring the kids and dogs.
The Hive at Little Eeden – Café and Venue is located only 70 km outside of Perth in Mooliabeenee. Wake to the sounds of the bush and farm animals! There are even roosters that will crow early morning! A one stop camping spot for any animal lover – young and old.
This is a very scenic area, with the campsite featuring mostly level grass surrounded by pine trees. We mainly cater for self-contained campers, with limited access to a shower and toilets.
Not only is Little Eeden Farm a working farm (with farm animals), but it is also a honey farm and we have The Hive Café and Venue on site!
We offer FREE educational honey tastings. Our honey products are for sale on site.
We serve light meals and drinks. The Hive can offer a unique farm venue for small intimate weddings and functions. We offer either indoor (in our café area) or outdoor (amongst the pines or lush grassed areas) seating options. Using local produce, we can cater to your taste. The Hive is a pet friendly café. Dogs on a leash are allowed at the outside seating areas of the café.
The Hive at Little Eeden – Café and Venue is listed on AfriForum Worldwide’s World Guide free of charge. This guide allows people to support South African businesses abroad.
The World Guide is where South African businesses from all over the world come together to form a community. Currently, the guide has just over 1 000 listed businesses, from Afrikaans doctors in New Zealand, to biltong shops in London.
Networks are more than mere businesses; it is also a valuable way of building a support base for those days when the longing for a South African wine, gathering around a braai fire and the Afrikaner hospitality becomes too much.
