Business in the Spotlight: Kloek Klub
This week, the spotlight is on Kloek Klub in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
Kloek Klub listed for free on AfriForum Worldwide’s World Guide. This guide enables people to support South African businesses abroad.
More about Kloek Klub:
Kloek is a registered not-for-profit organisation at the KVK (registration number 84440775), with the aim to use profits generated from our events to help people in our immediate community. We host events, usually in the form of a “high tea” or themed workshop where you will learn a new skill or experience. It offers a platform for women to share talents, inspire others and test new ideas; perhaps even help grow their dream/business.
And the best part: 30% of your attendance fee goes straight into the Kloek Fund to help someone in need.
This is us! Michelle Lintvelt and Nannette Thompson; besties since high school.
We grew up together, both studied to become chartered accountants and followed each other to the Netherlands in 2018, with our husbands, two bunnies and two dachshunds in tow. A beautiful baby boy has since been added to our makeshift “family”.
Kloek was born many years ago, when we were meant to be studying but chose to procrastinate with late-night talks on how we were going to change the world.
